About Us
History
Located just 1/2 mile north of the historic Butteville Ferry landing on the Willamette River, the property was cleared and established as a training ground for gun and water Labrador Retrievers in 1988. After decades of preparation, the first wine grapes were planted in 2013, and most recently in 2022. The first vintage was produced in 2018.
The Present
The Kaslers purchased the property in 2023 and made it their home. Bryan comes from a commercial construction and civil engineering background, and Lindy brings her artistic and creative background from working in publishing and her love of film photography.
The Name
Chatterbox Falls in British Columbia, Canada sits at the head of Princess Louisa Inlet, which is one of the top yachting destinations in the world. It is a special place for Bryan and Lindy who have enjoyed visiting it while staying at Young Life's Malibu Club in Canada.
If you're in the area, you might hear our two little chatterboxes helping in the rows or tending the sheep.
